Canberra - Here we come!

Students to spend five nights and six days in Canberra.

Parents and students from Year 5 and Year 6 classes met last week to be briefed on arrangements for next year's Canberra Excursion.

We had a terrific roll-up of parents and students who were informed of the exciting opportunities that they would be involved in.

The group (consisting of 18 boys and 18 girls) will leave Perth in early August for five nights and six days in Canberra. During that time they will visit the old and new Parliament Houses, the Australian War Memorial, the National Museum, the National Art Gallery, the Royal Australian Mint, Questacon, and the National Dinosaur Museum. They will also undertake a day trip to Mount Selwyn to experience snow conditions and enjoy some tobogganing.

A number of fundraising activities will be held over the next twelve months to reduce the cost of the excursion.
